The work was structured in the form of articles independent of each other but transversally linked to the central theme of the research, i.e., the presence of public policies, in this case, the National Program for Strengthening Family Farming (PRONAF) and the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), in the state of Goiás. The general objective of this Master's thesis was, therefore, to verify the impact of these public policies in the context of agricultural production in the state of Goiás, in addition to the State's responsibility for the result. In the first article, we carried out a Systematic Literature Review, whose bibliographic portfolio used in the research was obtained through the Methodi Ordinatio. In this case, the research aimed to know who benefits from the generalist discourses in which family farming and agribusiness are presented polarized, without a deeper look at the endogenous inequalities of family and non-family farming. Thus, the objective of the work was an academic analysis of the relationships between Brazilian agribusinesses themselves to understand some of the intrinsic problems regarding these relationships. The results demonstrate that generalizations, especially when using average indicator indexes to formulate public policies, can lead to inefficient programs, as they cover up the endogenous realities of part of the Brazilian agricultural sector. Therefore, it’s s difficult for poorer rural families to access credit, which can intensify distributive inequalities in the countryside. In the second article, we adopted the comparative method as the main approach to analyzing the research problem. In this case, the research problem was as follows: has the PRONAF public policy advanced in the state of Goiás, given its agricultural importance in the national context? The article aimed to verify any proportional relationship between representation in the Gross Value of Agricultural Production (GVAP) and participation in PRONAF. Specifically, and to substantiate the general objective, it was necessary to identify and verify official data related to Brazilian agriculture and PRONAF from 2017 to 2022. After verifying the data, distributive inequalities became evident, both in amounts contributed and in the number of contracts signed. Indeed, no logic of proportionality could be identified between representation in the GVAP and performance in PRONAF i.e., the state of Goiás is one of the largest agricultural producers in the country. Still, this fact did not create a favorable environment for the arrival of financial contributions from the PRONAF public policy. In the third and final article uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to secondary sources and a study of the legislation applied to family farming and its implications for the PNAE. Regarding the research problem, the question was whether municipalities with leadership in agribusiness, with large-scale production and export of commodities, have neglected family farming within the scope of the PNAE. In this context, the objective was to certify the level of commitment of four municipalities in the Southwest microregion of Goiás to family farming, specifically in public policy. When relating the data from each municipality, we found that the largest producers of agricultural commodities in the Southwest microregion of Goiás did not neglect the PNAE public policy, especially from 2021 onwards. On the other hand, and even unexpectedly, the municipality of Perolândia, whose number of Declaration of Eligibility for PRONAF (DAP) per inhabitant was very high, was the only one not to receive resources from the PNAE. Moving towards the end, and considering the transversality of the articles' contents concerning the central theme of the research, this Master thesis demonstrated that the State still needs to direct forces toward basic issues in the context of family farming, such as, for example, the increasing number of DAP/CAF, since it is the first document required when the purpose is to obtain subsidized credits aimed at strengthening the family segmente. It's worth noting, however, that it is unfair to place the entire burden of this situation on the shoulders of the State. It is known that some family farmers are not interested in participating in public policies aimed at their segment, either due to excessive bureaucracy, lack of knowledge and incentives, fear of entering a process they do not master, or simply because they are not interested. Another important result was the lack of any logic of proportionality between agricultural representation in agribusiness, aimed at large-scale production and export of commodities, and performance in the public policies analyzed in this research. A pressing need, which was seen in the three articles, is to reformulate the legislation related to family farming, bringing it closer to the current reality of farmers, which, it is reasonable to intuit, will improve the rules of the public policies analyzed here, reducing distributive inequalities in the countryside. The proposals for improvement presented in this work had this purpose. Finally, we expect that future field research can substantiate (refute or ratify) the results presented in this Master thesis.ptAgronegócioPNAEPRONAFGoiásAgronegócios: o cenário agrícola do estado de Goiás e a participação de políticas públicas no contexto produtivo, 2017 a 2022
