Análise da flexibilização curricular do novo ensino médio no ensino de artes no Brasil e o desenvolvimento regional. Goiânia (GO), 2024. 64 f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2024.https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/424Arts education stimulates students’ creativity and imagination. Through artistic activities, students are encouraged to think outside the box, explore new ideas and express themselves in unique ways. These skills are not only crucial for artistic endeavors, but they also translate into other areas of life. By integrating art into the classroom, teachers can provide opportunities for students to engage in creative problem solving, innovative thinking, and imaginative exploration. With the changes in the new version of High School at BNCC, how is arts teaching in education being affected and what is the relationship with Regional Development? The research sought to understand the educational consequences arising from the curricular flexibility of the new High School in the teaching of Arts and its relationship with regional development. The research methodology was based on a bibliographical approach and qualitative documents. Concluding then, art teaching becomes an important tool for public schools. It is believed that public schools are an environment to expand knowledge, as there is a demand from the population that may only have access to these artistic expressions if they are offered by public schools, as was evidenced in PISA, in which Brazil ranked below expectations in terms of students' creative mastery. At the present time, education is seen as one of the most relevant sectors for the country's growth, considering that the knowledge acquired results in efficiency, innovation and updating of technological practices and resources. It was concluded that artistic education empowers citizens, promoting technological advancement and efficiency in production, improving and enabling them academically to meet local needs that stimulate progress. In this sense, the relationship between public policies and this demand from the population has presented gaps that raise questions necessary for the improvement of arts education, and thus of society in general with the economic development of everyone involved.ptBNCCEducação em artesPISAAnálise da flexibilização curricular do novo ensino médio no ensino de artes no Brasil e o desenvolvimento regional
