The judiciary's ability to resolve conflicts directly affects the economic and social development of a country. The effectiveness of the jurisdictional provision is highlighted in Resolutions of the CNJ, in the National Judicial Strategy and in the Strategic Plan of the TJGO. The efficiency in information retrieval reduces the time and uncertainties of the analyzes for the substantiation of votes and decisions in procedural judgments. The virtualization of the Judicial System and the Law on Access to Information emerged as a milestone in the socialization of access to public information, being essential in the direction of transparency and effectiveness of the jurisdictional provision. The Information Governance aims at enhancing the institutional results with the repositioning of information as a strategic resource. The proposed information governance model is formed by policies that supported by the systems and enabled by a formal structure, direct to the best use of information reflecting in better institutional results. The objective of the research was to identify how the information governance model can improve the jurisdictional rendering of the State Justice of Goiás. In order to reach the objective, a case study was carried out in the judiciary of Goiás.
