The literature review revealed that few studies address judicial efficiency at the district level, and important gaps remain, such as the influence of other social systems on the performance of the Judiciary. This study, in light of Institutional Isomorphism — which proposes that units subject to similar internal and external influences tend to adopt similar behaviors —, assessed the efficiency in the allocation of material, human, and financial resources in the districts of the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO) between 2020 and 2022, using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In the initial entry districts, a gradual increase in average efficiency was observed over the period, with emphasis on Acreúna, Caçu, and Maurilândia, which maintained 100% efficiency in all years analyzed. In contrast, Cavalcante presented a consistently lower performance. In the intermediate-level districts, the average efficiency was 86.09%, with Anápolis, Ipameri, Itumbiara, and Santa Helena achieving 100% efficiency in all three years. The district of Novo Cama was among the worst-performing units throughout the period analyzed. The analysis of the GDP and degree of specialization variables revealed a positive correlation with efficiency levels only in the intermediate-level districts. The findings indicate the need for more in-depth studies on the management models of efficient districts and interventions in the lowest-performing districts, such as the District of Cavalcante, where quilombola communities still face barriers to access to justice. Future research could expand the scope of this study to include more recent periods and, starting in 2023, assess the impact of the deinstallation and elevation of districts, from initial to intermediate level, on judicial performance. It would also be valuable to explore efficiency in other state courts, incorporating variables that consider the quality of sentences and the complexity of cases.ptTJGOIsomorfismo institucionalDEAEficiência judicialAdministração da justiça: análise da eficiência das comarcas do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Goiás de 2020 a 2022
