The study is situated within the context of the growing recognition of mental disorders as significant causes of disability and workrelated absenteeism, a scenario intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic, which exposed institutional vulnerabilities and increased psychological distress in the public sector. In Brazil, this situation is reinforced by the rise in sick leaves due to mental disorders and by evidence of negative impacts on psychological well-being. In the public sector, particularly within the Judiciary, signs of psychological distress are evident, along with the predominance of emergency-oriented institutional responses and the fragmentation of institutional data. In this context, the research was guided by the following question: How did the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO) structure and implement, between 2015 and 2025, its institutional policy for the promotion, prevention, and care of mental health at work, in light of the Resolutions of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the contributions of development, especially from the perspective of the 2030 Agenda? The objective of the study was to examine the implementation and governance of these policies, as well as to identify institutional actions, analyze health indicators, and diagnose challenges in complying with CNJ guidelines. A qualitative approach was adopted, based on document analysis and interviews with strategic managers. The results highlight advances in the institutionalization of preventive actions and in the strengthening of the regulatory framework, with greater integration across institutional areas. However, challenges remain regarding the consolidation of a culture of care, data integration, staff engagement, and the systemic organization of psychosocial careptPoder judiciárioTribunal de Justiça de Goiás (TJGO)Políticas institucionaisPromoção da saúdePolítica institucional de saúde mental no trabalho no Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Goiás (2015 – 2025) : uma análise à luz do debate sobre o desenvolvimento
