For this reason, family agriculture has played an important role in sustainable rural development, as it allows small producers who have common objectives to have access to other consumer markets and to purchase inputs at lower prices, making their products more competitive in the market. The objective of this work was to analyze the contributions of cooperativism and associations to strengthening family agriculture in Humaitá-AM, based on activities promoted by cooperatives and associations, and their benefits for strengthening family agriculture and sustainability. The methodology adopted in this work is field research, with a qualitative approach, which uses as instruments: documentary research, in-depth interviews and content analysis obtained in data collection. It can be seen that there are no cooperative practices in the municipality of Humaitá-AM, due to several factors, among them, practices that facilitate the functioning of associations, such as agreements and programs aimed at associations, highlighting the importance of the role that associations have played in the development of the region and improving the quality of life of family agriculture, extending to everyone in the community in which it is located.ptAssociativismoCooperativismoAgricultura familiar
