Technological and innovative tools such as artificial intelligence, IoT (internet of things), virtual reality, robotic surgeries, machine learning, Big data and predictive analysis are no longer trends, and have become a reality in the main health players. In such context, a tool took the stage, and due to the COVID 19 pandemic has become the subject of much debate: Telemedicine. Telemedicine is the practice of medicine at a distance mediated by communication technologies. Doctors can offer online consultations, issue reports remotely, guide patients, and so on. As a result, telemedicine is a new model of care provision and an important resource to expand access to health care, being as effective as face-to-face consultation. The truth is that the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies has had an exceptional impact on the system health and especially in developing countries. One of the issues that Telemedicine proposes to solve is the availability of health care in places where it would not be possible to reach through traditional forms of medicine or it would not be possible to do so in a timely manner. This dissertation started from the need to analyze the applicability of the Telemedicine in such contexts. An exploratory-descriptive-reflective study was developed, as there are few experiences reported in Angola; and aims to supply the gap in studies focusing on the topic in developing economies.ptTelemedicinaTransformação DigitalGestão de saúdeTelemedicina em angola
