In this sense, a diagnosis of the Ornamental Stone Extraction Sector in the State of Goiás was carried out, with a view to characterizing and analyzing the feasibility of exploring these ores, for the transformation and optimization of the current scenario of the extractive activity of dimension stones in Goiás territory. , observing the technical and economic aspects. It was an exploratory and qualitative research, through documental, bibliographic and field research. The problems identified in the research are found in the investigation of adjustments for the expansion of productive activity, given the regional characteristics, legal regulations and public policies. The results demonstrate as a possible solution to the problem situation, the elaboration of actions aimed at the planning of technical economic studies aimed at surveying complementary mineral and technological research services, carried out in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP); exploratory soundings; experimental sampling of blocks; assessment and dimensioning of the deposit, intuiting the elevation of the multiplicity of stone materials already explored; marketing investigations, relationship with specifier professionals, promotion of academic activities and training of specialized technical manpower, as well as the implementation of existing public policies and those being prepared for the structuring of APL's; construction of new commercialization models; industrial tourism and projects to value mining territories in relation to culture and rock/territory and natural resources, which contemplate the singularities of the extractive process of ornamental rocks in order to contribute to the regional development of the state of Goiás.ptRocha ornamentalEconomia mineralPoliticas públicas
