As a specific objective, the mission is to examine the importance of access to work for people with intellectual disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome, in view of the hiring of the Regional Labor Court of the 18th Region as of May 2022; to investigate the public policies implemented by the Regional Labor Court of the 18th Region from May 2022 to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, with a focus on Down syndrome; and to point out the relevance of special and professional education for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome, in the labor market and to propose recommendations and strategies to improve public policies for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome, in the context of contracting service providers with the Regional Labor Court of the 18th Region. This study is justified by both social and academic repercussions, as the labor market was analyzed for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, specifically those with Down Syndrome. A bibliographical and documentary review will be carried out based on authors such as Aranha (2001), Benevides (2021), Maia (2011), Mello (2016), Rogalski (2010), Souza e Oliveira (2021), Schneider et al (2021), among others. This is a bibliographical and documentary research, with a qualitative approach. It is concluded that public policies for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome, are recent, especially in the scope of the low-impact labor justice in Goiás, but of symbolic importance and which deserves improvements to allow for true inclusion and the realization of fundamental rights.ptInclusãoSindrome de downMercado de trabalhoPolíticas públicas de inclusão no mercado de trabalho para as pessoas com síndrome de down : o caso dos prestadores de serviço do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 18ª Região
