Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2025.https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/722The dissertation, entitled “Vocational Education in Goiás (2011–2025): an analysis of Pronatec and educational technologies as instruments for Regional Development”, developed within the Professional Master’s Program in Regional Development, under the research line Education and Regional Development, examines the implementation and results of the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (PRONATEC) in the state of Goiás between 2011 and 2025. Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) has been consolidated as a strategic vector for social and economic transformation, especially when articulated with emerging educational technologies such as Distance Education (DE), Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The general objective of the research is to analyze the implementation and results of PRONATEC in Goiás (2011–2025), identifying how technical training, integrated with the use of educational technologies, has contributed to regional development and to the productive inclusion of different groups, as well as to propose new interaction tools. To achieve this purpose, the study unfolds into the following specific objectives: to understand Vocational Education and its relationship with Regional Development in Goiás; to investigate the structure, objectives, and implementation of the PRONATEC program in the state; to identify educational technologies and innovations in VTE; and to develop an interactive guide, using accessible language and practical resources, designed to support the school community in offering vocational courses. In Goiás, PRONATEC expanded access to vocational training and strengthened interinstitutional partnerships, although it still faces structural challenges such as dropout rates, curriculum updates, and integration with the productive sector. Grounded in a qualitative and quantitative approach of an applied nature, the research employs a literature review — including authors such as Oliveira and Pila (2025), Pereira and Moura (2023), and Oliveira and Santos (2023) —, document analysis, and secondary data collection from official sources such as MEC, IBGE, INEP, and SECTI-GO. The findings indicate that the consolidation of public policies integrated with technological innovation is essential for advancing Vocational Education and reducing regional inequalities in Goiás, contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of technical and vocational courses, as well as to strengthening the relationships among education, territory, and sustainable development.ptTecnologia educacionalEducação profissionalPolíticas públicasEducação profissional em goiás (2011-2025): uma análise do PRONATEC e das tecnologias educacionais como instrumentos de desenvolvimento regional
