The main objective is to verify the influence of leadership on the development of a safety culture in agribusiness mechanical contractors. The approach to the concepts and premises of people management, organizational culture and safety culture constitutes the theoretical foundation, making it possible to characterize the methodology as an explanatory quantitative research, with survey-type data collection taking place through the application of a form validated aimed at companies in the segment, with techniques for analyzing results collected in the field based on Descriptive Statistics and ANOVA models. The presentation of results and discussions unfolds with the aim of responding to specific objectives, where the impact of leadership on the development of safety culture by geographic region, time in the company, age group, education and amount of training received in the last year related to the topic is assessed. of security, observing that experience in the company, higher levels of education and a greater number of security training are positively correlated with a better perception of security culture, while regional differences and the age of leaders do not have a significant impact.
