This is an applied research study, with a qualitative and exploratory approach; semi-structured interviews with managers were conducted to identify challenges, strategies, and perceptions related to leadership in contexts of uncertainty and institutional transformation. The findings indicate that the main challenges faced are predominantly adaptive in nature, involving communication difficulties, distributed management, and resistance to change. Although managers do not explicitly label their behaviors as adaptive leadership, they adopt practices aligned with the model’s principles, such as active listening, tension regulation, and the use of feedback. The empirical results, when analyzed in light of the theoretical framework, reveal a strong connection between managers’ perceptions and the foundations of adaptive leadership. This alignment between theory and practice reinforces the applicability of the adaptive leadership model as an effective framework for understanding and improving leadership practices in organizational contexts marked by volatility and transformation.ptTrabalho híbridoLiderança adaptativaProcessamento judicialGestão públicaPráticas de liderança adaptativa em ambiente de trabalho híbrido : a percepção dos gestores um em unidades de processamento judicial com competência criminal da comarca de Goiânia
