In this sense, this study aims to analyze the factors associated with organizational change, which can positively and negatively influence its occurrence, to support managerial interventions necessary for its success. For this purpose, two surveys were applied to employees of an organization, at different times, before and after the change occurred in the management of their work units. The first survey was applied in 2019, with 181 employees evaluated, to identify the potential for implementing the change. In 2021, after the change took place, the second survey was applied, with 61 employees evaluated, to identify the perceived results of the change. From the results obtained, the low organizational potential for change, failures in the use of important practices for the management of the change process, considerable attitudes of skepticism and fear of respondents during the change and the negative effects of failures in the use of some practices stand out. on the attitudes of individuals and on the results of change they perceive.
