Regarding the theoretical axis, themes related to gender inequality, motivational factors for entrepreneurship, and the main barriers of female entrepreneurship were addressed. In order to answer the problem question and achieve the general objective, an applied, descriptive, qualitative research was carried out, using a case study, through the technique of content analysis, in which 11 members of the program were interviewed, aiming to obtain an overview of their realities. It was possible to show that although female entrepreneurs have conquered space in the labor market, there are still remnants left by patriarchal power that limit female entrepreneurship. In addition, they are impacted, in terms of income, in the search for opportunities and their own development. Another challenge clearly perceived are children who, at a young age, demand maternal care, which in most cases causes mothers to postpone professional plans. The fact that the case study methodology was used became a limitation in the sense of not allowing the generalization of the conclusions. However, it is suggested that in the future a quantitative research be carried out to statistically highlight the main challenges faced by female entrepreneurs, followed by a qualitative research showing actions taken by them to deal with such conflicts.ptEmpreendedorismo femininoDesigualdades de GêneroBarreiras e desafios ao empreendedorismo femininoDesafios do empreendedorismo feminino: um estudo de caso sobre o programa juntas
