As for the theoretical axis, discussions were carried out in the light of the various authors of the area on the history and evolution of Microcredit through Cooperativism, as well as its adoption as a propeller of local development. It was possible to show with the respective research that among the challenges faced by Sicredi Cerrado for the implantation of Microcredit through Cooperativism, the lack of knowledge on the part of the population about what it is and what its objectives are, in addition to the restriction and the absence of proof of income, which prevent access to credit. The fact that the survey was carried out via technology became a limiting factor due to the difficulty of access by the respondents, but this did not compromise the results. It is therefore suggested, for the future, that research be carried out in other municipalities that have a Sicredi Cerrado agency to obtain a comparative analysis between them regarding the challenges for the implementation of Microcredit, in addition to further studies and discussions within the scope of the academy so that this relevant and current topic gains strength and continues to have applicability.ptCooperativismoMicrocreditoDesenvolvimento local
