However, the effectiveness of these practices faces significant challenges, highlighting the need for adequate teacher training. The lack of teacher preparation, inadequate infrastructure, and limited educational resources hinder the effective implementation of inclusion. This scenario raises the question of how to improve teacher training to address these challenges and promote quality inclusive education. Investigating this topic is essential to identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance education in Goiás. Teacher training is crucial for the implementation of inclusive practices, and its improvement can significantly impact the social and economic development of the region. This study aims to investigate the challenges and contributions of teacher training for inclusive education in Goiás, analyzing how this training can be enhanced. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the educational context and public policies for inclusion in the region, identify the main gaps in initial and continuing teacher training, evaluate the infrastructure and resources available in schools, and propose recommendations to improve teacher training and inclusive practices. The adopted methodology involves bibliographic and documentary research, using sources such as books, academic articles, legislation, and official documents on inclusive education and teacher training.
