Uso da inteligência artificial como mecanismo de treinamento na formação médica em áreas remotas de Goiás: uma perspectiva de desenvolvimento regional. With advances in machine learning, natural language processing, and realistic simulations, AI has been applied to the training of healthcare professionals, especially in remote areas. This technology enables interactive training, immediate feedback, and personalized learning, reducing the need for traditional infrastructure and facilitating access to knowledge. In Brazil, the shortage of doctors in distant regions, such as in Goiás, worsens the inequality in healthcare services due to limited mobility and a lack of educational infrastructure. In this context, AI emerges as a potential alternative to mitigate these issues, enabling remote training through realistic virtual environments and continuous support. However, its implementation requires investments in connectivity, instructor training, and digital integration into medical curricula. Additionally, challenges such as resistance to technology, appropriate regulation, and professional adaptation must be addressed. This theoretical and documentary research, which includes a case study in the Kalunga quilombola community, revealed that the shortage of doctors, combined with educational precariousness and mobility difficulties, hinders professional qualification. The findings show that AI is perceived as a promising tool for medical training in remote areas of Goiás, particularly by facilitating access to education and supporting diagnostics. Healthcare professionals interviewed recognize its potential but point to the lack of infrastructure and training as major barriers. The acceptance of AI depends on adaptation to local realities and strategic public investments, and there is optimism about the technology's positive impact on the qualification and retention of professionals in these regions.ptInteligência ArtificialEstado de GoiásDesenvolvimento RegionalFormação médicaUso da inteligência artificial como mecanismo de treinamento na formação médica em áreas remotas de Goiás: uma perspectiva de desenvolvimento regional
