The Maria da Penha Law, in its article 8, reinforces the need to create a network to combat domestic violence, involving the Union, States, Municipalities, non-governmental organizations and companies. This work, in turn, proposes a multidisciplinary investigation into the issue of gender violence. The methodology adopted was bibliographic and documentary research, based on a qualitative approach, using national and international studies and legislation relevant to the topic. It was noted that the encouragement of companies in relation to projects to combat domestic violence is an effective strategy for tackling this social problem. This approach overflows and amplifies the current panorama of reprehension of domestic violence against women in Brazil. Addressing the complexity of gender relations and questioning universal conceptions of human nature, the study explored the social, cultural and legal constructions involved in the persistence of gender-based violence. And, the results indicate that it is essential that the country's public policy demonstrates a true commitment to gender equity, based on measures that bring concrete results to promote structural changes, strengthen women's economic autonomy and guarantee broader access to education and excellent services for women, thus contributing to the country's economy and, it is possible to expand the support network, taking into account the social responsibility of the private sector, in acting on practices of internal public policies of corporate sustainability, making fundamental human principles compatible with those of an economic order.ptConstituição econômicaFunção social do trabalhoViolência doméstica
