Attentive to the movements of the highly competitive and regulated market, the main agents, striving for increasing results, invest in the motivation and recognition of their employees, putting in practice new job performance compensations strategies, aiming to stimulate greater productivity. Research in this regard indicates that employees tend to produce more, thus generating additional values for their organizations. In turn, the recognitions aim to generate greater commitment to work and provide better results for both parties. This study aimed to analyze the effects of reward systems on the motivation and satisfaction of employees of a large retail financial institution. Participants work in one of the 21 agencies specialized in the relationship with small and medium-sized companies, located in the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. The frequency of respondents' opinions was measured in a quantitative way through questionnaires sent by e-mail in a 5-point Likert scale format, which allowed to explore and analyze the perceptions of employees through the IBM® SPSS® software and to present statistical analysis descriptive with frequencies and averages, factor analysis with varimax rotation and reliability analysis by Cronbach's Alpha, for variables and constructs. It is hoped that the study in question can contribute to highlight the effectiveness of the reward systems, allow opportunities for new initiatives in this regard, as well as reveal the need to improve and develop new practices to reward, motivate and improve employee satisfaction.ptBenefícios fiscaisDesempenho no trabalhoReconhecimento
