Bancarização por meio do programa minha casa minha vida - um estudo dos financiamentos concedidos em Goiânia - Go, entre os anos de 2011 e 2015.. Goiânia (GO), 2017.https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/237The Minha Casa Minha Vida Program (PMCMV) is a current public policy to face the housing deficit in Brazil. The program is operated by public financial institutions (FIs) and it is mandatory that their beneficiaries have or start a business relationship with these banks, that is, they need to be banked. The PMCMV is divided into bands: number 1, "social interest", which serves the lower income population (and it is not part of the scope of this study) and numbers 2 and 3, "the market bands", which benefit families with income between R$1,600 and R$5,000. The present research analyzed aspects of banking of "the market bands", using a database provided by a mixed economy financial institution, which included all the house finance operations signed in Goiânia GO, from 2011 to 2015. Comparing the groups of borrowers, the ones already banked with the ones with no banking relationship, it was identified how this factor interferes in the conduct of operations, especially debt and default. 7.365 cases were studied. Simple statistical measures were applied to describe the public and measures of association were used to verify the financial behavior: odds ratio. The study concludes that there is a very high percentage of beneficiaries with banking relationship, but the lack of financial experience impairs the conduction of these real estate financing operations. Financial education actions are needed for this audience in order to improve the effectiveness of the program.ptPrograma habitacionalPolíticas Públicas HabitacionaisFinanciamento ImobiliárioBancarizaçãoFinanciamento ImobiliárioBancarização por meio do programa minha casa minha vida - um estudo dos financiamentos concedidos em Goiânia - Go, entre os anos de 2011 e 2015.
