Its function is to judge and ensure the application of laws in the country, interpreting the Federal Constitution and the infraconstitutional rules. Much has been discussed about the factors and methodologies that would lead to a more efficient performance of the Brazilian judicial system, among them, it is worth mentioning governance. This article has the main objective to demonstrate the importance of the CNJ Award for the governance of the Judiciary of Goiás, a theme little explored in academic research, as a survey about the state of the art on this subject. The ongoing research is exploratory, with a qualitative approach, using the in-depth interview, with the participation of magistrates, acting in the first degree of jurisdiction, direct authors of the application of law, administrative managers (Area Director) and servers of 1st and 2nd degrees of jurisdiction of the Court of Justice of Goiás (TJGO).
