The delay in procedural processing, the lack of transparency in procedures and the inefficiency of the system are characteristics historically associated with the Brazilian judiciary, the result of a long period of inertia in the Public Administration, considering that reforms in Brazilian public management were placed in the background to the over time. This has changed since the Reform of the Brazilian Judiciary, with the implementation of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and its innovative management policies. In this sense, the present study seeks to verify the impact of applying process management on the work carried out by criminal judicial units in the district of Goiânia; identify the difficulties encountered by the workforce in finalizing/archiving the criminal case; and discuss the consequences of judicial management projects such as digitalization, the implementation of the electronic process and the restructuring of judicial units in the exercise of notary activities. To achieve these objectives, we started with a bibliographical review, which brought the definitions of the categories used in the research, such as management, workforce and demand, to prepare a questionnaire and apply it to judges, civil servants and interns working in criminal courts in the capital, in addition to collecting and analyzing statistical data extracted from the systems of the CNJ and the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO). The analysis of the responses was carried out using the quantitative method, which uses statistical analysis to collect and interpret data, and allowed us to verify that, for the workforce in the criminal courts of Goiânia, the digitalization of physical processes, the implementation of the electronic judicial process , the installation of the jurisdictional processing units of the criminal courts in the district of Goiânia and the fulfillment of the goals proposed by the CNJ were fundamental factors in ensuring greater speed and transparency in the work of the criminal courts in the district of Goiânia. Despite the great advances seen in the statistics of these units, there are still challenges to be achieved, according to the difficulties highlighted in the questionnaire. But based on the identified areas for improvement, you can implement best practices and continually monitor processes to ensure they are working effectively. In this way, this research can contribute to future studies on the topic, in addition to having a social contribution, by enabling the analysis of which aspects have worked to make the criminal courts in the district of Goiânia more efficient, such as process management, management judicial and external (CNJ) and internal (TJGO) modernization policies.ptGestão de processosGestão judicialJustiça CriminalGestão de processos nas unidades judiciárias de competência criminal na comarca de Goiânia
