Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2024.https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/357The Young Apprentice Program was created by the Federal Government to guarantee the emplymentl rights of the young apprentices, promote their placement in the job market and help to combat child labour in Brazil. The program is ruled by The Law of the Apprentice, created in the year 2000 (Federal law 10.097/2000). This Law sought to meet the needs of low-income families, in order to place young people and adolescents in the job market, combining theoretical and professional training. How have the professional qualification courses offered by the organizations participating in the Program served the regional job market? This is the problem situation we seek to investigate. The general objective is to understand how the Young Apprentice Program is offered as well as its impact on the professional training of young people. In addition to the general objective, we have as specific objectives as follows: to understand young people and the education aimed at the world of working; to know the Young Apprentice Program, its concepts and training processes and, lastly, develop a critical analysis of the Program's performance and its courses and training processes. The method applied was data collection after several electronic scientific research publications, from which we analyzed articles, dissertations and theses about the Program. We used tools like Google Scholar. To carry out the analysis of the collected data, we mainly use the qualitative approach, as well as the quantitative approach. We carried out a comparison between the courses offered by four Civil Society Organizations responsible, in Goiânia, for theoretical training — the Social Works of Brother Áureo Spiritist Center – Osceia, the National Network for Learning, Social Promotion and Integration – Renapsi, the Business-School Integration Center – CIEE and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute – IEL. We can say that in these organizations, the offer of courses prevails in two technological axes: Management and Business and Control and Industrial Processes. The organizations differed in the name and workload of some the courses in comparison with the Pronatec guide issued by the Ministry of Education. These discrepancies may harm the apprentice's training by not specifying exactly which occupation the apprentice is being qualified for, and in addition to this, often their workloads do not follow the Ministry's recommendations.ptJovem aprendizOsceiaEducaçãoPrograma jovem aprendiz: inserção do jovem no mercado de trabalho em Goiânia-GO
