In Goiânia, collaboration between the Judiciary and the municipal Executive Branch is necessary for significant improvements in local tax enforcement and, therefore, in its Regional Development. It is necessary to develop judicial policies capable of facing the challenges of the high volume of cases in this area and the low financial return for the municipality. In this sense, the Restructuring Project of the 1st Municipal Public Finance Court and Public Records of the District of Goiânia was implemented between 2017 and 2022, which created the need to examine how this initiative, aligned with the National Goals of the Judiciary and the 2030 Agenda, improved procedural efficiency, favored dejudicialization and boosted regional development. To this end, our general objective was to analyze the changes, benefits and their consequences that occurred in the pilot branch of the Municipal Public Treasury, which had a high rate of congestion, in a period between 2017 and 2022. Our specific objectives are: a) Evaluate the results obtained from the implementation of the Efficient Tax Execution Project 1st Tax Execution Court of Goiânia, also discussing how the changes in the Authority Law impacted the volume of pending cases and the congestion rate; b) Explore how the Efficient Tax Execution Project aligned with the National Goals of the Judiciary and the 2030 Agenda, focusing especially on Goal 5 (Drive processes towards Execution) and Goal 9 (Integrate the 2030 Agenda with the Judiciary); and c) Understand how the project contributed to regional development, considering the improvement in judicial management and the promotion of sustainable practices. The results indicate a substantial reduction in procedural congestion in the Tax Execution Courts, an effective alignment with the National Judiciary Goals and the 2030 Agenda, showing improvements in procedural efficiency and the de-judicialization of disputes. Furthermore, there was a positive impact on regional development, with advances in judicial management and the promotion of sustainable practices. Therefore, the Efficient Tax Execution Project represented a significant advance in the TJ/GO's judicial policy, bringing improvements in procedural efficiency and contributing to dejudicialization and sustainable regional development. The changes implemented reflect an innovative approach and are aligned with the broader objectives of sustainable development and good governance. The success of the project proved to be a replicable model, highlighting the importance of judicial reforms that balance efficiency, social justice and environmental responsibility.ptPolítica JudiciáriaDesenvolvimento Regional SustentávelDesjudicializaçãoPolítica judiciária do TJGO e o desenvolvimento regional: a experiência da 1ª vara de execução fiscal de Goiânia (2017 a 2022).
