Thus, the general objective is to analyze how women who occupy management positions in a State Court of Justice face barriers in their careers. The research used a qualitative approach, with a descriptive and exploratory nature. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with a semi-structured script, with a group of 12 female employees of the Court of Justice of Goiás who occupy management positions. Data analysis was performed through content analysis, focusing on categories such as the profile of the interviewees, barriers faced (glass ceiling, sticky floor and glass maze) and facilitating factors. The results showed that women in the TJGO face complex and multifaceted barriers in their careers, but they also develop strategies to overcome them, such as investing in academic qualifications and building support networks. The managerial contributions include the need for institutional policies that promote gender equity, such as mentoring programs, training, and support for balancing personal and professional life. And the academic contributions reinforce the relevance of qualitative studies to understand complex phenomena such as gender inequality in the public service. The dissertation concludes that the professional trajectory of women in the public service, especially in the Court of Justice of Goiás, is marked by a series of structural and cultural barriers, such as the glass ceiling, the crystal maze, and the sticky floor, which hinder women's advancement to higher positions. The research identifies a gap in studies on women's careers in the Judiciary, highlighting the scarcity of studies that investigate the motivations, aspirations, and barriers that shape the professional trajectories of female civil servants. It is suggested that additional studies address the careers of female employees of State Courts of Justice by conducting comparative research between Courts or between State Courts of Justice and the private sector; conducting longitudinal studies on the career paths of female employees and studies seeking to identify institutional practices and policies that seek gender equalityptTribunal de justiçaIgualdade de gêneroTJGOAs trajetórias profissionais de mulheres servidoras públicas de um Tribunal de Justiça: caminhos, dificuldades e possibilidades
