Qualidade, segurança, saúde e meio ambiente: percepção dos gestores de uma multinacional acerca da sustentabilidade. Goiânia (GO), 2023. 82 f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2023.https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/147This study aimed to investigate the initiatives of sustainable people management from actions related to the UN SDG 03 and the processes of Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (QHSE) in a multinational private company in the cosmetics and perfumery segment in the state of Goiás and the Federal District, aiming to understand what are the company's initiatives related to Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (QHSE) and even if there is a relationship between the proposal and implementation of sustainable people management practices in the perception of company managers. The literature in the area highlights the relevance of sustainable people management in companies, as this provides for the permanence of the business in the long term, the reduction of occupational accidents, the reduction of maintenance costs, repetition of processes due to errors, and other issues based on the concepts of environmental, social, and economic quality. Furthermore, studies have revealed the existence of positive and significant correlations between work engagement, psychological capital, and the dimensions of well-being at work (job satisfaction, job involvement, and affective organizational commitment). Thus, it can be inferred that the individual who exhibits vigor and absorption also has heightened levels of optimism, resilience, hope, and efficacy. Another relevant point for the research is a deeper analysis of the importance of sustainable people management and QHSE with a look at SDG 03. A questionnaire was applied for a quick and participatory diagnosis with 21 company managers who work indirectly with about 60,000 people in the region of Goiás and Distrito Federal. From the questionnaires it was possible to identify that the company acts effectively in the QHSE points and also in a way to help meet SDG 03, more specifically directed to reduce deaths and global injuries caused by traffic accidents, and also in others, such as in SDG 10 aimed at reducing inequalities. In general, the results found in this research were higher than those found in other publications. One point of attention identified in relation to the lower scores is linked to psychological burnout that may be linked to recent changes related to COVID-19, but in the study there is no depth on this topic. It is expected that the results of this study can serve as a basis for the development of policies and practices of people management in a sustainable way with emphasis on actions related to Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (QHSE) and guide the government in relation to the development of public policies in partnership with private companies, focused on compliance with the SDGs as agreed in the UN agenda 2030. Another important point is that the work also contributes to fill a gap regarding published studies that relate QHSE and the SDGs.ptGestão de PessoasBem-estar no TrabalhoGestão SustentávelObjetivos do Desenvolvimento SustentávelQualidade, segurança, saúde e meio ambiente: percepção dos gestores de uma multinacional acerca da sustentabilidade
