This production must be published to maintain/elevate the note given by the MEC (Ministry of Education) to the Institution. Knowing this, IF Goiano encourages its teachers to publish, not only nationally but also internationally. The creation of the Resolution n. 064 of 2014 stimulates the scientific production since it allows the reimbursement of translation and processing of articles, which are usually high values depending on the Qualis of the journal that is stipulated by CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel). Thus, this study intends to analyze the quantitative of articles translated versus the cost and comprehensiveness of the publications. In addition, it aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the Resolution and propose improvements for IF Goiano to perfect this policy. To do so, it was done the data collection of all open processes from 2014 to 2018, identifying the amounts spent, publications made and common errors occurred. Opinions from research directors and servers were collected to evaluate the Resolution from an external point of view. SWOT analysis was also done to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The results have shown that the Resolution is effective because it has increased the number of publications over the years, but several points need to be reviewed in order to be effective.ptQualisSWOT
