Dissertação (Mestrado - Programa de Pós-Graduação em desenvolvimento Regional, Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2022https://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/144This study aimed to map, describe and analyze the state policy of Goiás for the mineral sector from the creation of the 1991 State Mining Plan. ; examine and discuss the relationship between the State Mining Plan (PEM) and the National Mining Plan (PNM) in order to identify and distinguish actions that are complementary and that can be implemented by the State of Goiás; describe and compare with other State Plans the actions proposed in the PEM of Goiás in relation to regional development; and finally, perform a comparative analysis between the 1991 state mining plan and the current proposed scope of the state mining plan (2022 - 2042). The research was characterized as exploratory with a quantitative and qualitative nature. Through literary research, it addressed some relevant aspects of mining plans and diagnoses published by other federal entities in order to support the analysis of the central points evaluated as essential to the content of the strategic planning instrument defended in this study. In the context of mining activity, the main highlight of this analysis is, in fact, the essential role of the state government as a catalyst for regional development, which reflects in the reduction of social inequalities and economic-environmental sustainability. As a result of this study, an unprecedented analysis was carried out on the important support pillars in the construction of the current State Mining Plan in the state, considered as strategic, modern and inclusive.ptMineraçãoMinerais estratégicosDiversificação economica
