For the fulfillment of the objectives. In this work, a qualitative research was carried out with interviews with financial administrative managers, directors and consultants of companies in a recovery situation. As a result of the analysis, eight existing challenges were identified during the elaboration of the strategic planning, being possible to verify that the directors have similar desires and visions about the difficulties to be overcome by the companies. Financial administrative managers, on the other hand, are the ones who have the most contact with everyday difficulties, have a broader view of the challenges faced and demonstrate a broad concern about the strategy and the risk of not achieving the goals and established goals. As for the consultants responsible for the project, they have a very strategic vision, as they are able to analyze with a perspective relating restructuring opportunities, strategies and legislation.
