Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Centro Universitário Alves Faria, 2023.http://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/159This master's thesis intends to demonstrate the impacts on regional involvement, implementation of wild boar management as a State Public Policy, especially in the Midwest region. In this way, we seek to explain the possible causes of the introduction and spread of wild boar (Sus scrofa) within the Brazilian territory, as well as the reasons that provoked its demographic growth, a fact that has been causing several economic, environmental and social damages throughout the country. Faced with this scenario, the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) ended up releasing the management, via slaughter, as a way of controlling its supervision. However, given the lack of resources (human and financial) by the Brazilian State, it was up to individuals and legal entities to take charge of handling wild boars, that is, while the State would be responsible for legislation and inspection, people who wanted, for some reason Do, control wild boar motifs could, with proper authorization, do so. Given this context, the present work aims to: verify whether the management, as it has been applied, is functional from the point of view of an effective public policy, that is, whether this policy, as it is carried out, can at least mitigate the problems that wild boars have been causing on different fronts. In this way, in this work, in addition to just trying to demonstrate the possible beginning of the introduction of wild boars in Brazil and the probable damage caused by their regularity, we try to contribute with some considerations and considerations, presenting different perspectives, often conflicting, of the legislator/supervisory State and of the controlling agents, in order to elucidate a little the management of wild boar as a Public Policy. The study was carried out through a bibliographic review and articles already published with different approaches. At the end of the work, it was verified that the public policy undertaken by the Brazilian state, for the management of the population of Javali, was distributed to third parties (individuals and legal entities), which, with their own resources, bear all the costs arising from the hunting. However, only those with better financial resources can carry out the control, which does not occur with relationships with those small producers, which often occur from planning for their own livelihood.ptJavaliCaça EsportivaPolíticas públicasManejo AnimalA Caça esportiva de animais no brasil: o caso do javali e seu impacto no desenvolvimento regional
