In this context, the following problem emerged. What are the challenges and perspectives of implementing a full-time school in Goiás, in relation to regional development? In this problematization, we consider the legal system that reinforces integral education policies on a full-time basis; the ways of organizing school time/space; the legitimized knowledge; the training and management of personnel and; the mobilization of financial resources in the context of the new comprehensive education policy for elementary education. Also considered are the initiatives of the Federal Government to guarantee the right to full protection of children and adolescents, aiming to comply with the Federal Constitution (1988), the Statute of Children and Adolescents (Law No. 8.069/90) and the Law of Directives of Bases for National Education (Law n° 9394/96), which are calling on municipalities to extend the school day of elementary school, through intersectoral actions, involving cultural, sports and environmental education activities. Regarding the methodology applied, it is part of an apparatus of information acquired by bibliographic research, where the content was supported by books, magazines and videos that correspond to the proposed theme. It is known that the State of Goiás, where the study was carried out, needs more educational investment, that full-time education helps in the knowledge, this is clear, but it is necessary that there is a better use of the program in its practice, so that this so that the student makes the most of what is taught.ptEnsinoMedidasDificuldades no aprendizado
