The country has great agricultural vocation, but on the other hand, does not have adequate infrastructure to transport its production in a timely and cost effective, thus losing competitiveness against their competitors. The research question is to know what are the main bottlenecks and logistical alternatives to reduce the cost and agribusiness operational improvements that can be useful in organizations in their strategies. The theoretical basis of the research is the efficient management of business logistics. Therefore, we used a case study with Bunge company, whose logistics area is one of the most important agribusiness in Brazil and has a Program for Excellence in Logistics, whose strategies observed in the company can be considered as trend market may contribute to the development of business strategies for other companies, such as the business specialization strategy, strategic alliances, the search for cost reduction in the production chain with the integration of processes with suppliers and customers and ultimately with introducing a sustainable logistics.ptLogísticaAgronegócioCompetitividade
