O requisito “social” do acrônimo esg (environmental, social e governance) como ferramenta de garantia da igualdade de gênero no ambiente corporativo. 2023. 111 f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Função Social do Direito) – Faculdade Autônoma de Direito, São Paulo, 2023.http://repositorio.unialfa.com.br/handle/123456789/493The present work aims to analyze whether the social criterion of the acronym ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) can contribute to the guarantee of gender equality in the corporate environment. For this, a brief history was made about the evolution of women's rights, the social historical construction of female inferiority, as well as data that prove that in the corporate environment there is inequality of pay, besides presenting data about the incipient participation of women in leadership and management positions in relation to men today. We will seek to understand how the idea of "female inferiority" and the participation of feminist movements in the fight against this vision took place. It is intended to highlight that companies reflect the inequalities existing in society and that they need to adopt a posture more aligned with human rights and sustainable law goals established by the UN (United Nations). It is intended to demonstrate some international and national documents aimed at guaranteeing women's rights in business environments. Finally, it shouldbe demonstrated how the "s" requirement of the acronym ESG can contribute to the protection of women's rights, considering that it is perfectly aligned with the sustainable law objectives on gender equality established by the UN.ptIgualdade de gêneroAmbiente corporativoObjetivos de direito sustentávelEnvironmental, Social e GovernanceO requisito “social” do acrônimo esg (environmental, social e governance) como ferramenta de garantia da igualdade de gênero no ambiente corporativo
