The research, descriptive in nature with a deductive and bibliographic approach, was based on official documents from the National Council of Justice (CNJ), reports from the Innovation, Intelligence, and SDGs Laboratory (LIODS), legislation, scientific articles, and statistical data. The study highlights that the COVID pandemic accelerated the adoption of technology and the modernization of judicial procedures, reinforcing the importance of simplifying judicial acts and reducing bureaucracy to enhance public access to judicial services, promote institutional sustainability, and improve administrative efficiency. Structured into three chapters, the dissertation addresses: the emergence of sustainability and its relation to the Judiciary; innovative solutions and public policies aimed at inclusion and modernization of the justice system; and an empirical analysis of the impacts of these measures on citizens' perceptions regarding access to justice, duration of proceedings, judicial costs, and the use of electronic means. The findings reveal that the simplification of procedures and adoption of sustainable practices significantly contribute to strengthening the Judiciary as an agent of social transformation.
