The idea of work has undergone major transformations over the years, reaching the level of being related to the dignity of the human person and currently having a role that until then was unimaginable if thought of from the point of view of former slave labor. Along with the work, there were evolutions in the modes of production, also known as Industrial Revolutions. The First Industrial Revolution was marked by the construction of railroads and the invention of the steam engine, the Second Industrial Revolution had the increase of electricity and the assembly line, enabling mass production, while the Third Industrial Revolution brought the digital revolution. It so happens that nowadays there is already talk of the Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0, making up the so-called Economy 4.0 which is not new, but has promoted major ruptures in the previous revolution, as it has reached levels of advancement and great development in the area of technology and intercommunication between the physical and virtual world. This context has triggered new changes in work, especially its growing commodification in parallel with the deregulation of labor rights acquired with great persistence, and therefore, there is a movement against all the rights already conquered. In this bias, the Sharing Economies arise, which initially brought the idea of sharing goods and reducing costs, but which over time has demonstrated its true intention of acting on the margins of current legislation, increasing its profit every day and exponentially, to the detriment of workers and consumers. The best known Sharing Economies are Uber and Airbnb, and the misrepresentation of their initial principles has been called uberization. It is advocated on the need to make work relationships more flexible as a way to maintain employability, however what has been witnessed is the growing precariousness of work, without any concern for the human person, fostered by uberization, which links to technological means, work deficit of minimum guarantees, and has taken advantage of the absence of state action, social measures and modern legislation for its effective control. The conjecture is also related to exacerbated consumerism, as people have been recurrently exposed to advertising for products and services, creating the desire to buy, and in order to satisfy their desires, they need to obtain more income, which is usually achieved through increased of working hours, suppression of breaks, rest and leisure, that is, we are facing human self-enslavement in favor of the rise of consumer power. This situation has been the driving force behind the so-called diseases of the 21st century. Therefore, proposals will be made for the improvement of living and working conditions, as a way of adapting to the new reality experienced. The methods used in the research were historical, inductive, dialectical, casuistic and bibliographic, with analysis of physical and electronic documents.ptDireito do TrabalhoEconomia 4.0Economias de compartilhamentoConsumismoUberização e precarização do trabalho: problemas e alternativas na Economia 4.0
