And from this, the research will be based on specific objectives that are focused on the visualization of the policies that led to the deconstruction of UEG in 2020 and its objectives that conditioned its dismantling; in the identification of the new structure of UEG and its perspective for higher education training in the municipality of São Miguel do Araguaia-GO. . The object of study of this research is the State University of Goiás, which in 2020 was restructured and closed several centers, including in São Miguel do Araguaia, causing a new critical educational scenario, as in this municipality there is no longer public higher education offered to the population. To carry out this qualitative research, the principles of documentary and bibliographic methodological research will be used as one of the theoretical and methodological references. The expected results can be expected that with the research to be developed we will be able to visualize the policies that led to the deconstruction of UEG in 2020 and their objectives that conditioned its dismantling, as well as identify a new structure of UEG and its perspective on higher education training and also show the negative reflection on regional development in teacher training, in the municipality in question.ptUEGSão Miguel do Araguaia -GOEducação superior
