The approach outlined in the space of organizational dimensions: planning, financial planning, business management, financial management, and entrepreneurial behavior. The choice of theme translates into a way to replace the agenda of Brazilian discussions the issue of the importance of the survival and success of SMEs as a catalyst for the economy viabilizarem industrial decentralization and forming themselves into occupation alternatives for a portion of the population, and, to become a formal or informal employment option, assuming relevant socioeconomic role. The study is an immersion on the developments of the analyzed dimensions, with factors that add a framework of variables, discussed in the light of the theoretical framework, supported by the literature in the area, guided by research and information from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Commission Economic for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and Applied Economic Research Institute (IPEA), documents of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) of digital library data from the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE) where reports are available, Labour Yearbooks in MSEs and results of research carried out in Brazil, portraying the reality and the importance of this segment of companies. The methodological strategy held in a qualitative research with descriptive research, explanatory and applied, using secondary data analysis tools and field research with application of closed questionnaires.
