In the legal area it is no different. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are not training professionals with skills that the job market demands. The increase in the number of institutions offering the course of law, without due attention and regular inspection, contributes to the bad training of law graduates. This research consists of analyzing the connections between the profile of the legal professional proposed by the higher education institutions of Imperatriz (MA), their professional inclinations and the training offered by the four (4) HEI courses in Imperatriz (MA), under the line of research organizations, agglomerations and regional development. The study has as references the studies of Edgar H. Schein (1993), Menezes (2016) and Chanlat, (2015), who served to analyze the bachelor's inclinations of the law courses of Imperatriz-MA, relating to the profiles professionals requested by the labor market and if the professional training offered is preparing the students for such requirements. The bibliographical survey sought to base dissertations, articles, periodicals and integral texts in several sources. Students of the 10 th period of the law courses of the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) - Campus Imperatriz (MA), Santa Terezinha - Fest School of Education, Universidade Sul do Maranhão - Unisulma and Facimp. The field research was carried out with the application of an electronic questionnaire, of 3 (three) parts: the first one on general aspects about the shift, age and sex, the second part on vocational training; and the third on professional inclinations, in which the Schein (1993) assessment of career inclinations was used. The results showed the connections between them, thus contributing to the deepening of the debate aimed at consolidating the professional legal field. As a result of the analysis on the Professional inclinations, it is sought to raise the perspectives or professional profiles of the students of the law courses of the HEI of Imperatriz (MA) and Identify the students' perception of the course of law on the market and the training provided by HEIs of Imperatriz (MA), to be able to analyze the connections between the profile of the professional of the law proposed by the HEI of Imperatriz (MA), their professional inclinations and the training provided by the IES law courses of Imperatriz (MA).ptInclinações profissionaisÂncoras de carreiraImperatriz -MA
