In the national scenario, the state of Goiás occupies a prominent position, being one of the protagonists of evolution of Brazilian agribusiness. Rural Credit is an important instrument to enable the development of agribusiness, enabling its growth, in addition to making it increasingly competitive. The general objective of the work is to analyze the application of Rural Credit in Goiás from 2016/2017 to 2018/2019, its modalities and sources of funds used. Data on Rural Credit applied in Goiás are presented, the municipalities with the highest volume of credit used, the products most financed by agricultural costs, in addition to the purposes for which the loans were contracted. To this end, an analysis was made of the information contained in the Rural Credit Data Matrix (MDCR) of the Brazilian Central Bank (BCB). In Goiás, R$ 47 billion were invested in the 2016/2017 to 2018/2019 crops. Of these, R$ 27.8 billion went to agriculture and R$ 19.2 billion to livestock. The main products financed through the costs were: soybeans, corn and cattle raising. Despite financing the largest amount, the controlled resources are no longer sufficient to meet all demand, which is why the volume of uncontrolled resources has been growing every year. Most of the investment operations are carried out with funds from FCO Rural. The participation of public banks has been growing, with Banco do Brasil as the main financier of agribusiness in Goiás. The high amount of Rural Credit applied in Goiás in the 2016/2017 to 2018/2019 harvests was observed, a factor that has undoubtedly contributed to the growth and development of the state's agribusiness, whether for the cost of production or for expansion and technological innovation in the productive sector.ptFinanciamento ruralAgronegóciosAgricultura
