It was recognized as a public policy by the Brazilian Judiciary by Resolution No. 125/2010 of the National Council of Justice. From this perspective, considering the Judiciary's increasing difficulty in resolving disputes brought before it, this research questions to what extent the use of the Multi-Door Justice System in the Second Level of Civil Jurisdiction of the TJGO contributes to reducing litigation, ensuring effective access to justice, and fostering development. The study aims to analyze to what extent the use of the Multi-Door Justice System in the civil appeals phase of the TJGO contributes to reducing litigation and realizing the fundamental right of access to justice, and therefore, development. The methodology encompasses a literature review and documentary research to clarify the correlation between Law and Development, the Multi-Door System, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. It is qualitative and quantitative in nature, collecting data from the TJGO's 2nd Instance CEJUSC (Court of Justice of the Goiás) from September 2, 2024, to October 18, 2024. Based on this data, descriptive analysis was conducted to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the particularities of the Judicial Unit's performance. The research results demonstrate that the Multi-Door System in the TJGO's civil appeals phase can provide legal certainty, reduce transaction costs, reduce congestion and litigation, free up financial resources tied up in litigation, and restore the power to the parties to manage their own cases, especially considering the high degree of reversibility of judicial decisions.
